On the morning of September 18, the opening ceremony and the first matches of the 20-year An Phat Holdings Football Cup officially took place at Dong Lac Stadium, Nam Sach district, Hai Duong province. The tournament promises to deliver exciting but equally dramatic matches of 14 teams from An Phat Holdings and member companies.
Attending the opening ceremony of the tournament, on the side of An Phat Holdings, there were Mr. Pham Do Huy Cuong – Standing Deputy CEO & CFO; Mr. Nguyen Le Thang Long – Deputy CEO and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tien – Deputy CEO. On the side of subsiadiaries , there was Mr. Bui Thanh Nam General Director of Hanoi Plastics Company with the presence of a large number of fans. The ceremony took place in a vibrant atmosphere and eagerness of 14 participating teams.
The An Phat Holdings 20th Anniversary Football Cup aims to celebrate the 20th anniversary of An Phat Holdings’ establishment, creates a level playing field, affirming the youth of An Phat people, and enhancing internal solidarity, showing the colors of subsiadiaries, simultaneously promoting the spirit of sport, spreading the love of employees to the king sport and pride with An Phat Holdings.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Phạm Đỗ Huy Cường sent sincere thank to the players, fans and the organizers for their contribution to organizing the 20-year An Phat Holdings football tournament. Looking back on An Phat Holdings 20 years of construction,Mr. Cuong said that despite many difficulties and challenges, the Group has developed and grown as it is today. Thereby, he recognized the great contribution of the workfocre – An Phat people who are constantly creating, making efforts, and doing their best for the success of the Group.
At the end of the speech, Mr. Phạm Đỗ Huy Cường sent his best wishes to the footballers: “May the players play to the fullest, show noble sportsmanship, and dedicate themselves to good fighters. I sincerely wish the tournament a great success.. “
Although the deployment time is quite urgent, less than 1 month, the Football Tournament has attracted 14 participating teams from An Phat Holdings and company members. An Phat “warriors” are not only excellent in their work, but also true “heroes” with sportmanship and determination to compete seriously and professionally with 100% energy, effort and dedication to spectacular goals. Besides, the competition also ensures the noble sports spirit of a football tournament.
Regarding the competition rules, 14 participating teams will be divided into 4 groups, each with 3-4 teams. In the group stage, the teams compete in a round-robin round to calculate the points to choose the top 2 teams of each group to advance to the quarter-finals (round of 8 teams). These 8 teams will play knockout to select 4 teams to enter the semi-finals. The two winning teams in the semi-finals will advance to the final, the two losing teams will meet in the 3rd place match.
After the opening ceremony, the SB team and the AAA factory team entered the first round. Both teams participated in the competition with enthusiatic spirit, dedicating to the audience the dramatic matches. At the end of the first match, team AAA factory won against team SB in the bursting joy of the fans.
The tournament is expected to take place from now until the end of October 2, 2022. The first prize team will have the opportunity to receive a reward of VND 20,000,000. This is one of the factors that create the attractiveness of the tournament, as well as the goal that the participating teams aim for.
