An Trung Industries officially became the first tier vender to Brother

On 16 August, 2019, An Trung Industries JSC, a member of An Phat Holdings, officially signed a supply contract with Brother Vietnam Industrial Co., Ltd.

Accordingly, An Trung Industries will supply printer plastic parts to Brother Vietnam, officially becoming the first tier vender to Brother, a multinational corporation from Japan, specializing in manufacturing printers, fax machines, scanners, label printers, industrial sewing machines and high-quality household sewing machines.

Mr. Man Chi Trung, General Director of An Trung Industries and Mr. Kimura Tadashi, General Director of Brother Vietnam signed the cooperation agreement.

This is a great success of An Trung Industries and An Phat Holdings. Previously, in April 2019, An Trung Industries officially became the second tier vender of Samsung, the largest mobile phone manufacturing corporation worldwide.

An Trung Industries will supply components for Brother Vietnam Industrial Co., Ltd. starting from August 2019. These components will be used directly in Brother’s printer manufacturing process, contributing to bring quality “made-in-Vietnam” auxiliary products to customers around the world. The expected capacity is 25,000 products per month.

In preparation for the cooperation with Brother Vietnam Co., Ltd., An Trung Industries factory was invested an additional VND 200 billion to add more modern machines and molds to produce plastic printer components for Brother Vietnam and other customers.

The process of becoming Brother’s supplier had been carried out continuously by An Trung Industries in nearly one year. This process started from October 2018 with the serious investment and tireless efforts of An Trung Industries and An Phat Holdings, in order to innovate and improve technology, machinery, human resources,… and meet the rigorous standards of Brother – the world’s leading corporation with branches operating in 44 countries.

Mr. Man Chi Trung, General Director of An Trung Industries said: “The journey to become a supplier for a big partner from Japan with more than 100 years of experience in the electrical equipment industry is always extremely difficult because they have high requirement. We had to go through the process of completing the design, building factories, investing in machinery, recruiting, training, producing samples, checking, evaluating, approving,… according to strict standards from partners. An Trung Industries must satisfy core criteria such as quality, price and time to be selected. ”

Mr. Kimura Tadashi, General Director of Brother Vietnam Industrial Company, said: “Accuracy and high technology are the most important factors in the field of plastic molding of supporting industries. And I appreciate the efforts as well as the professionalism of An Phat Holdings in general and An Trung Industries in particular to meet those requirements. Therefore, I am very confident and hopeful in our cooperation. ”

The target strategy of An Trung Industries is focusing strongly on customers of the electrical and electronics segment to provide products that are the company’s strength. In addition to Brother Vietnam, An Trung Industries has about 10 other big customers including famous multinational companies and Vietnamese enterprises, mainly in the field of electricity – electronics such as Elentec/Samsung, Daiwa/Yamaha, Panasonic, VinSmart, ACE ANTENA,…

In addition to its strength in the electric – electronics industry, An Phat Holdings is focusing on developing the automotive – motorbike supporting industry with the acquisition of Hanoi Plastics JSC in 2018. This is one of large suppliers of plastic industry with many big customers such as Toyota, Honda, Piaggio, VinFast,… In early August 2019, An Phat Holdings inaugurated VinFast- An Phat Bioplastics Auto Part factory (VAPA ) in Hai Phong. This factory specializes in supplying plastic for car and motorbike components for VinFast factories in the first phase. In the next phase, the factory will be expanded to serve other customers.
