BOEING-THE LEADING GLOBAL AEROSPACE COMPANY VISITS HA NOI PLASTICS’ FACTORY

On August 24, before the organization of the “Boeing Aerospace Industrial Forum”, Boeing – the leading Global Aerospace Company had a working session with Hanoi Plastics Joint Stock Company (HPC) – a member of An Phat Holdings.

This meeting aims to seek potential cooperation opportunities between Boeing and Hanoi Plastics Company in the future. Attending the visit, on the side of Boeing Corporation, there were Mr. Michael Nguyen – Country Director of Boeing Vietnam; Mr. Michael Edwards – Director of Boeing Research & Technology Asia Pacific, The Boeing Company; Mrs. Barbara Zetterberg – Director BCA Supply Chain Contracts, Sourcing, Affordability & Functional and Excellence, The Boeing Company; Mr. Dylan Jones – Managing Director at Boeing Korea; Mr. Jon Lilja – Manager Supply Chain Business Development Japan, Korea, SE Asia, and many senior managers of Boeing globally in Korea, Japan, India.

Welcoming the delegation of Boeing, on the side of An Phat Holdings and Hanoi Plastics Company, there were Mr. Dinh Xuan Cuong – Vice Chairman, CEO of An Phat Holdings; Mr. Bui Minh Hai – President of Hanoi Plastics Joint Stock Company and many other senior leaders.

During this trip, Boeing delegates visited the Hanoi Plastics’ factory, thereby acknowledging the company’s production capacity in the field of supporting industry and the potential to develop related products to serve the aerospace industry in the future.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Michael Nguyen – Country Director of Boeing Vietnam highly appreciated the efforts of An Phat Holdings in general and Hanoi Plastics Company in particular in developing the supporting industry sector.

Also at the meeting, the Boeing delegation was introduced to the compostable products and An Phat Holdings’ PBAT Compostable Resin Plant project. All delegates were interested in AnEco products and realized the potential of using these products on Boeing flights.

Fascinated by AnEco compostable products of An Phat Holdings, which are available in 20 countries worldwide, Mrs. Barbara Zetterberg – Director BCA Supply Chain Contracts, Sourcing, Affordability & Functional and Excellence, The Boeing Company said that Boeing is moving towards sustainable development. The direction of An Phat Holdings is also consistent with their long-term vision. Hence, she expressed desire to shape a cooperation relationship with Ha Noi Plastics Company in the coming time.

Regarding the potential cooperation between Boeing and Hanoi Plastics Company in particular and An Phat Holdings in general, Mr. Dinh Xuan Cuong – Vice Chairman, CEO of An Phat Holdings said: “Supporting industry, compostable materials and products are one of the key areas in our business development strategy. We hope that today’s visit will open up opportunities for cooperation between Boeing and Hanoi Plastics Company as well as An Phat Holdings in various fields in the future.”
