The visit and working session of Board of Management of Toyota Vietnam were parts of the support program for HPC on management and production organization from 2018. Under this program, HPC implemented Dandori (quick mold assembly) and Tei-Tei (arranging production on continuous machine by type of plastic and keeping rotation of the same principle months according to production principles following Toyota global standards) in order to organize scientific production and reduce production costs to the lowest level.

Currently, Toyota Vietnam is one of the biggest customers of HPC.

At this meeting, representatives of An Phat Holdings and HPC presented the improvements that HPC had applied according to the program and the results achieved in production and organizational management.

Mr. Toru Kinoshita highly appreciated the efforts and innovation spirit of all employees of HPC factory. Mr. Kinoshita said that during this visit, he clearly saw the positive changes of HPC compared to 1 year ago. The change was because of the spirit of decision and the serious investment of An Phat Holdings since officially received HPC as a member company.

Representative of HPC, Mr. Bui Minh Hai – Chairman of the Board of Management pledged to maintain what has been done and promote further improvements, along with Toyota Vietnam in the localization strategy.

Toyota Vietnam and Hanoi Plastics have been having a good cooperative relationship for nearly a decade. This is reflected in the following numbers:

– In 2010, the cooperation order between the 2 companies was 1 product

– In 2018, the number of cooperative products grown impressively to 30

– In 2019, the number of products will continue to grow strongly with the drastic orientation of An Phat Holdings in developing the supporting plastic industry.

It is certain that with the new orientation of An Phat Holdings, Hanoi Plastics will have more imprints in meeting the increasing requirements of Toyota Vietnam in particular and other customers in general.
