Hanoi Plastics (NHH): Profit in 9 months increased sharply, expected to be listed on HOSE in November 2019

Hanoi Plastics Joint Stock Company (NHH – UPCoM) has just released the consolidated financial reports for the third quarter of 2019 with positive results when the profit of the third quarter in particular and the first 9 months of the year grew positively.

Specifically, the third quarter revenue of NHH reached VND 311.8 billion, profit after tax reached VND 20.2 billion, respectively up 31.2% and 169% over the same period last year. In the first 9 months of 2019, NHH’s revenue reached VND 864.5 billion, up 21.2%; profit after tax was VND 39.8 billion, up by 30% over the same period of 2018.

It is expected that in November 2019, Hanoi Plastics will put 34.44 million shares listed on the HOSE. The company currently has a charter capital of VND 344.4 billion.

NHH said that the Company was restructuring and transforming into a corporation model, through a series of merger and acquisition (M&A) activities in the near future. At the same time, focusing on investing strongly in supporting industries, with two main areas are cars – motorcycles and electricity – electronics.

At present, member companies of NHH are An Trung Industries, Viexim and Vietnam Pattern Manufacture and Precision Mechanical Company Limited. In particular, An Trung Industries is a company operating in the field of supplying electrical and electronic equipment and components, as a supplier to international technology corporations such as Samsung (Korea), Brother (Japan).

In the near future, NHH plans to merge VinFast- An Phat Bioplastics Auto Part Limited Company (VAPA), a joint venture producing car and motorbike components between An Phat Holdings and VinFast, into its system.

On the market, NHH shares officially registered for trading on UPCoM since September 2017. Currently, NHH has been trading positively with strong gained sessions. End of session on October 31, NHH increased by 2% to VND 51,000/ share.
