Provincial Governor of Kagoshima – Japan visited An Phat Bioplastics Joint Stock Company

Mr. Satoshi Mitazono – Provincial Governor of Kagoshima, Japan, and 22 officials and journalists visited and worked at An Phat Bioplastics JSC – a member of An Phat Holdings.

On 17 October, 2019, Mr. Satoshi Mitazono – Provincial Governor of Kagoshima, Japan led the delegation of 22 officials and journalists to visit and work at An Phat Bioplastics JSC – member of An Phat Holdings. Welcoming the delegation were Hai Duong province’s leader; Mr. Pham Anh Duong – Chairman of An Phat Holdings and senior management and employees of the Group.

In recent years, Kagoshima Province (Japan) had many trade activities, human resource development, and economic cooperation with Vietnam. The province received a large number of trainees and workers from Vietnam to work. At the same time, Kagoshima had cooperation with Vietnam in the field of high-tech agriculture.

At the meeting, Mr. Pham Anh Duong introduced An Phat Holdings and shared investment opportunities between the two sides. With the advantage of producing high-tech, environmentally friendly plastic in South East Asia, An Phat Holdings had exported its products to more than 50 countries around the world, including markets that required very high quality standards, such as Japan, USA, EU,…

In Japan, An Phat Holdings supplies thousands of tons of thin monolayer film every year, accounting for 32% of export sales, ranking the second among An Phat Holdings’ export markets. In addition, An Phat Holdings also has a sustainable cooperation with major Japanese corporations such as Honda and Toyota in the supporting industry.

Provincial Governor of Kagoshima admired eco-friendly products

Mr. Pham Anh Duong, Chairman of An Phat Holdings said: “The meeting with the delegation of Kagoshima Province helps us understand more about Japanese policies and market in general and Kagoshima Province in particular. Then, we can make suitable accessing decisions in the future. Our goal is to expand the export market to all countries and regions around the world, and Japan is one of the key countries. I know Kagoshima is a coastal province and An Phat Bioplastics is currently producing 100% compostable and environmentally friendly fishing nets. This product is being recommended by many countries in the world. We hope that this product and other compostable products of An Phat Bioplastics, such as bags, knives, spoons, forks, agricultural films,… will reach the people of Kagoshima Province ”.

Taking the delegation to An Phat Bioplastics’ production line, Mr. Pham Anh Duong introduced Provincial Governor, Mr. Satoshi Mitazono, and all Kagoshima officials about AnEco product line, which were made from safe and compostable materials, safe for health, friendly with the environment.

Directly witnessing An Phat Bioplastics’ production process, machinery system and modern chain, Kagoshima leaders highly appreciated the investment and enthusiasm of An Phat Holdings in developing this 100% compostable product line.

Mr. Satoshi Mitazono – Provincial Governor of Kagoshima shared: “The main purpose of this visit is to strengthen the relationship between Kogoshima Province and Hai Duong Province in particular and between Japan and Vietnam in general. An Phat Holdings has a very wonderful factory, I personally feel and admire the products of An Phat Bioplastics, especially AnEco products made from corn starch. I appreciate products of An Phat Holdings and believe that the Group will grow stronger and stronger. ”

During this visit, the Kagoshima leaders and An Phat Holdings leaders planted a commemorative tree in the An Phat Bioplastics’ factory area. This was an action to express the desire for industrial production, sustainable economic development and environmental protection.
